Missing Mile

The poorer part of town and one of the roads leading into Missing Mile. Trailers, shaks and heaps of scrapped metal scattered on either side of the road.

[ ]The Sacred Yew
The only bar/club in Missing Mile. A place where the children of the night like to gather, coming from all surrounding areas. The club serves only beer, and some snaks.

[ ]Carmen's Pizza
The small pizza place downtown, selling a small variety of pizzas and garlic bread. Carmen's little restaurant has about six round tables with red and white checkered table cloths.

[ ]The Devil's Tramping Ground
In a place far from any homes or roads, a large circle of dry ground where no pants will grow is surrounded by grass. It is said among the locals that the Devil goes there every night and paces in circles.

[ ]Whirling Disc
Missing Mile's only record store. Sells old discs, CDs, tapes and some VHS tapes. Owned by Terry Bucket.

[ ]Tony's Grocery
One of the few grocery stores in town, owned by a large italian family that's been living in Missing Mile for generations.

The street is lined with bars and restaurants. Everything from fine dining to cheap pizza can be found on this main strip. A popular hang out for college students, and adults alike.

Located close to downtown, the park has an old fashioned carousel and train for children and adults to ride as well as small lake perfect for walking, a pool, and plenty of picnic shelter areas.

One of the best known bars in Raleigh. Seves rare drinks like Green Chartreuse. Is also a dance club, with an entertainment room upstairs.

[ ]Carmike 15 Theatre
Shows brand new films as well as some old classics occasionally. Because the theatre is in a bad part of town, and is open only during night hours, it is a place where many of the night's children like to meet.

The oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. The are said to be many haunted areas, and the streets are lined with restaurants, clubs, bars, and many historic sites to visit.

A club and bar near the French Quarter. It is very similar to The Sacred Yew in appearance, and it entertains the same sort of crowd. However, the music played there is more gothic.

The European-style café serves local sandwiches, soups, salads, gumbo and jambalaya. The atmosphere is unique and casual, the music is classical.

The above-ground tombs in the cemeteries of New Orleans are often referred to as "cities of the dead." Decorative, rusty ironwork, and sun bleached tombs. Crosses and statues on tomb tops cast contrasting shadows adding a sense of mystery.

The bayou is often considered a dark, foreboding territory. Although considered mysterious by many, the swamps are appreciated for their natural beauty.
